FALL 2015 PHOTO GALLERY
12/21/2015 - Fall fishing is over. The fish still look nice but the fishs' eggs are now a deeper and brighter orange than their meat indicating that they are beginning to lose some of their prime eating quality.
12/14/2015 - A submitted story and picture, Thanks. - "Not as cool as the stringer story, but my mom caught this fish last weekend, her first ever kamloops. 27", 6.5 pounds, on a light (thin) but big white flashy spoon. If you need a picture for the fishing reports page, she would be pretty excited to see herself there.... Brett"
11/28/2015 - With the wind and rains, fish have been in the pool for weeks and now have an ice roof over their heads.
11/11/2015 - This looks like maybe the "scavenged" spawn paid off this morning. Thanks for the nice photo and congratulations on the nice fish.
11/6/2015 - While the number getting caught is not very big, the fish have been healthy and looking very appealing when they do cooperate for us.
11/1/2015 - We were unable to capture live images of the Kamloops taken today, but this Steelhead lived to bite again another day.
10/26/2015 - A nice Kamloops caught on the orange and gold 3/8 oz. Krocodile at the Lester.
10/23/2015 - A couple of biters were found in the wind, rain, and waves.
10/8/2015 - So far warm Lake Superior temperatures have kept the Shore opportunities very minimal with just some small numbers of northerns and lakers having been caught up to this point. Laker season is closed until December.
